“Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. This right shall include freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authority and regardless of frontiers.”
The Law on Freedom of Access to Information at the Institutional Level of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 61/23) stipulates the right to access information and reuse documents owned by the government institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, legal entities that establish institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina as prescribed by the Law on Registration of Legal Entities that Establish Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 37/03 and 76/11) and independent bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina established by a specific law implemented through relevant procedures and as prescribed by the applicable law.
