Local border traffic permits

Local border traffic permit is a special document used by its holder for crossing the common state border under the conditions of the local border regime.

In June 2013, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia concluded the Agreement on local border traffic establishing a local border regime, i.e. a system of rules governing local border traffic in the local border area between these two countries, and the Agreement on border crossings which defines border crossings between the contracting parties at the common state border.

The Agreement on local border traffic defines that residents of the local border area can cross the common state border with a local border traffic permit.
