WITHIN NEXT

This is not another conference about digitalisation being the future.

We bring together, in one place, the people who are digitalising public services in Bosnia and Herzegovina today and those who can help them do it. We will talk openly about what has actually been digitalised, what has not and why, and who can help change that.

A programme that shows what already works

Digital Bosnia in Action

Six short demonstrations of public services that already work in BiH: the problem, what was digitalised, how it is used today and the result.

Two panels

No opening presentations: speakers from the public sector, business, academia and the international community answer concrete questions.

Czech experience for a digital BiH

Results of cooperation on introducing digital communication tools.

Bring Your Digital Challenge

Public institutions submit one process they want to improve within the next 12 months; selected challenges are presented in the programme.

Matchmaking

Pre-arranged meetings between institutions and those who can help them, based on a concrete problem rather than sector.

NEXT Digital Government Commitments 2026

At the end of the programme we state what was identified that day: processes that can be improved, possible integrations and agreed meetings.

Every panel starts from a concrete problem

The programme runs from 11:00 to 13:15.

P1 · 11:35 – 12:10

From Counter to Click – Digital Identity and Data Exchange

An application can be submitted online, yet citizens still have to obtain evidence or collect the decision in person. How can digital identity, qualified electronic signatures and data exchange between institutions make the whole procedure truly digital?

P2 · 12:20 – 12:55

Digital Sovereignty

Who controls the data, infrastructure and key digital systems of public administration? Cybersecurity, cloud and continuity of public services: what happens to citizens when a key system stops working?

Bring Your Digital Challenge

For public institutions that want help digitalising one concrete process.

Which one process, service or administrative problem would you like to digitalise or significantly improve within the next 12 months?

Describe one challenge of your institution briefly and precisely. The programme team selects three challenges to be presented, and for all submitted challenges we prepare structured meetings with partners who can help.

Submitting a challenge is not a procurement request and does not promise funding. The aim is to describe the problem precisely and connect it with relevant expertise or support. Do not include citizens’ data, classified information or security-sensitive technical details.
