Ms. Davorka Šaravanja, dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Computing, and Electrical Engineering (FSRE) of the University of Mostar, and Mr. Almir Badnjević, director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), signed an agreement on cooperation on scientific research, development, and educational projects.In order to enhance technical solutions in IDDEEA from the scientific competencies of FSRE, the agreement formalised cooperation between these two organisations, in all areas of shared interest, particularly research and development initiatives and expertise. In accordance with both domestic and foreign funding sources, a combined application for research and development projects is also envisaged.
IDDEEA will assist FSRE by promoting the technical call as part of this collaboration, and FSRE will acknowledge IDDEEA as a valuable partner for investments in creative projects and regional development. In addition, the collaboration entails holding a number of specialised workshops and seminars for IDDEEA employees, which will give them access to ongoing professional development opportunities and training. However, FSRE students will have the opportunity to obtain professional trainings and practice by working on the projects of the Agency.
Director Badnjević and Dean Šaravanja expressed satisfaction with this form of cooperation, emphasizing that it represents a significant step towards the advancement of research initiatives and the development of technical solutions that will contribute to technological progress and the digital transformation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
