The Estonian company eID Easy, which operates in the fields of digital identity, electronic signatures and European digital wallets, has included Bosnia and Herzegovina in its overview of digital identity wallet development dated 15 October 2026, identifying the “e-IDDEEA app / Digital ID Wallet Platform” solution and the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) as the competent institution.
The overview covers European Union Member States, candidate countries and other European countries, focusing on monitoring the development of national digital wallets, available technical solutions and activities related to their implementation.
The inclusion of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this overview represents a significant contribution to the international visibility of IDDEEA’s activities in the field of digital identity. At the same time, it confirms that the development of domestic solutions is being monitored as part of international expert analyses of digital identity wallets.
IDDEEA continues to develop digital services and infrastructure for secure electronic identification, with the aim of improving the availability and use of electronic services for citizens and institutions.
