Director Badnjević on BHT1: Focus on system relocation, election technology, and e-signature

The Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Almir Badnjević, was a guest on BHT1, where he discussed the Agency’s current projects and future plans.

One of the central topics of the interview was the relocation of the organisational units and technical systems of IDDEEA, aimed at improving operational efficiency, performance, and infrastructure security. Mr. Badnjević underlined how crucial this procedure is to the consistency and dependability of the services the Agency offers to institutions and citizens.

The modernisation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s election technology and the qualified electronic signature service that is currently accessible to the general public were also discussed. This advanced form of digital identification allows both citizens and legal entities to securely and legally sign documents electronically — a significant step toward comprehensive digitalisation of public administration and administrative procedures in the country.
