Working Meeting with Spanish Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Spotlight on Digital Transformation and Future Cooperation

At the invitation of H.E. María Molina Álvarez Toledo, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of BiH (IDDEEA), Mr. Almir Badnjević, attended a working lunch today in Sarajevo.

The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Spain in the field of digital transformation, with particular emphasis on transferable models and institutional practices from Spain that could benefit public sector bodies in BiH.

Particular focus was placed on the planned study visits to key Spanish institutions scheduled for later this year, aimed at fostering deeper knowledge exchange, sharing practical solutions, and showcasing best practices.

Ambassador Molina Álvarez Toledo expressed strong support for the work of IDDEEA and highlighted the importance of institutional collaboration in the field of digitalisation, describing it as a key pillar of public administration modernisation. IDDEEA remains committed to strengthening international partnerships and positioning Bosnia and Herzegovina as a reliable and forward-looking actor in the field of digital transformation.
