Visit of the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers of BiH to IDDEEA

Mr. Robert Vidović, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA).

During the visit, Mr. Vidović visited the Agency’s Center for Personalization, Storage and Transport of Documents, where he witnessed the high level of professionalism, security standards, and technological sophistication of this unique facility in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was particularly impressed by the way IDDEEA organizes the entire process – from document personalization to secure storage and distribution to citizens across the country.

At the working meeting, discussions were held on key development projects financed by the Delegation of the European Union and GIZ, focusing on expanding the Agency’s SDH network capacities and establishing new eGovernment modules. These projects will significantly contribute to the digital transformation of public administration and enable citizens to access more efficient and user-friendly services.

Secretary General Vidović emphasized that he is proud that Bosnia and Herzegovina has an institution like IDDEEA, which successfully implements state-of-the-art solutions in digital identity and public administration in line with European standards. “IDDEEA is an example of how a state institution can drive modernization and digital development across the entire country. What I have seen today inspires confidence that Bosnia and Herzegovina has the capacity to keep pace with the best practices in Europe and beyond,” said Vidović.

The Director of the Agency, Prof. Dr. Almir Badnjević, thanked Mr. Vidović for his visit and support, emphasizing that IDDEEA will continue to be a leader in digital identity, data security, and digital public services for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
