This Privacy Policy explains how the Agency for Identification Documents, Registration and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter: “IDDEEA”) collects, uses, protects and shares your personal data when using our web service “Digital Presentation” and mobile application “e-IDDEEA”. Your privacy is extremely important to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the applicable laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including:

• Law on the Agency for Identification Documents, Registration and Data Exchange (“Official Gazette of BiH”, No. 56/2008);

• Law on the Protection of Personal Data (“Official Gazette of BiH”, No. 49/2006, 76/2011, 89/2011 and 12/2025).

1. Collection and use of personal data

To use our services, during the login process, we will request personal data from you that is used exclusively for authentication and access to your account in the “Digital Representation” web service. This data is used exclusively for the login process to the application and is not intended for other purposes.

In addition, the mobile application requires permission to access the phone’s memory to enable the upload and download of PDF documents. These documents are used for a qualified electronic signature for remote signing and after electronic signing are downloaded again through the application. IDDEEA does not store or have access to your documents. After electronic signing, the documents are automatically deleted from the system and are not stored on our servers.

2. Protection of personal data

“IDDEEA” undertakes that your personal data will not be disclosed, sold or rented to third parties. All data we collect and store, including the personal data you use to log in, is stored in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (“Official Gazette of BiH”, No. 49/2006, 76/2011, 89/2011 and 12/2025) and the latest data protection technologies. We apply all appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss or misuse. We apply the following technical and organizational data protection measures:

• SSL/TLS encryption to protect data in transmission;

• Data encryption during storage;

• Security procedures to protect against unauthorized access, loss and misuse of data.

3. Cookies

Our application uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a service from Google LLC, to send push notifications to users. This functionality allows us to inform you about important information, news or functionalities within the application.

When using FCM:

  • A unique device identifier (FCM token) is collected, which is necessary for delivering notifications.

  • This token does not contain any personal data of the user and is not used to identify an individual.

  • The token is used solely for the purpose of delivering notifications and is not shared with third parties other than the Google/Firebase services that process them.

If you do not want to receive push notifications, you can disable this in your device settings at any time.

In accordance with the Law on the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the personal data of users for logging into the web service are used exclusively for authentication and access to the service. All personal data related to qualified electronic signatures are processed in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data and relevant technical standards.
