Sarajevo Mayor, Samir Avdić, visited the Regional Centre of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) in Sarajevo on Friday, where he received his qualified electronic signature.
During his visit, Mayor Avdić reaffirmed his strong support for the digitalisation of public services in Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting the vital role of the qualified electronic signature in streamlining daily operations for both citizens and institutions.
“Digital transformation is not the future – it is the present. I urge all citizens to obtain their electronic signature and take advantage of the benefits it offers. This is a crucial step toward a modern and transparent administration,” said Avdić.
IDDEEA BiH thanked the mayor for his visit and support, encouraging citizens to learn more about the opportunities enabled by the electronic signature — including secure document signing, electronic identification, and access to a wide range of online services.
