The Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently in the final phase to implement five new international ISO standards. These standards include:
ISO 14001 – International Standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS);
ISO 45001 – International Standard for Occupational Health And Safety (OH&S);
ISO 27701 – International Standard for Privacy Information Management System (PIMS);
ISO 37001 – International Standard for Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS);
ISO 14298 – International Standard for Security Printing Management System Requirements.
By adopting these standards, the Agency will improve its operations in all areas of business and service delivery to citizens, raising the quality of services to an even higher level. In addition to the existing ISO standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022, the Agency will standardize its work in line with seven globally recognized standards. This step will position the Agency as one of the most serious partners to international organizations, facilitating further progress and improvement in all areas.
The ultimate goal of this initiative is for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to enjoy services that are fully aligned with international standards, ensuring that the quality does not lag behind any EU country.
Experts worked with the Agency’s working group on the implementation, education, and exchange of best practices. The experts concluded that the Agency already has exceptionally well-organized documentation, which will significantly ease the certification processes in the future.
