The continuous efforts of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) in the digitalisation process have been recognised by the domestic financial sector.
In this regard, the business portal Indikator.ba has awarded a special recognition to Mr. Almir Badnjević, Director of IDDEEA, for his contribution to digitalisation in the financial sector, as part of the traditional annual selection “Best Business Moves in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2024”, organised by Indikator.ba.
According to Indikator.ba, IDDEEA and Badnjević are credited with advancing the stalled digitalisation process under complex social and political circumstances, enabling irreversible progress in this long-neglected area in BiH.
Financial institutions, as leaders in digitalisation, have particularly benefited from this progress — not only by reducing paperwork but also by enabling the development of many new products, including online loans.
The award ceremony is organised in partnership with the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, and the award further confirms the Agency’s commitment to modernising public administration, developing modern digital services, and strengthening the infrastructure for secure and efficient data exchange between institutions, citizens, and businesses.
