The Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Almir Badnjević, met with the Head of the OSCE Office in Banja Luka, Mr. Alexander White. The discussion was focused on continuing the Agency’s successful collaboration with the OSCE, with a special emphasis on enhancing electoral technologies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The success of a pilot project involving technological solutions in the most recent local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina was highlighted during the meeting, which also reviewed the accomplishments to date.
Mr. White and Director Badnjević talked on the significance of preserving security and public confidence in the electoral processes, as well as opportunities for further development in the integration of cutting-edge technology solutions. Both underlined their commitment to working together to advance technological developments that would enhance the electoral system in BiH.
IDDEEA BiH and OSCE will continue working together on the modernisation of the electoral process while maintaining high standards of security and transparency.
