Today, the Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA BiH), Mr. Almir Badnjević, and the President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH), Sanin Bogunić, signed a Cooperation Agreement that marks a new chapter in enhancing digital data exchange and strengthening the integrity of the judicial system in BiH.
The agreement enables electronic and automatic data exchange between the two institutions, in compliance with current laws on personal data protection and information confidentiality. The cooperation focuses on the efficient and transparent verification of assets and interest reports submitted by judges, prosecutors, and members of the HJPC BiH.
This collaboration aims to strengthen the HJPC BiH’s capacity to prevent and detect conflicts of interest, potential irregularities, and unacceptable influences within the judicial community. At the same time, it represents another step toward the digitalisation of public administration and more transparent institutional operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
IDDEEA BiH, as the key institution responsible for the development of identification document infrastructure and data exchange at the state level, reaffirms its essential role in building a functional, efficient, and digitally connected state through this partnership.
The signatories emphasised their shared commitment to professionalism, legality, and inter-institutional trust as foundations of a stable and just society.
