As part of an official visit to the Government of the Una-Sana Canton, the Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Almir Badnjević, visited the Ministry of the Interior of the Una-Sana Canton (MUP-USK), where the meeting was held with Minister Adnan Habibi.
The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation between these institutions, with an emphasis on the introduction of new technologies and more efficient methods of data exchange.
During the meeting, the importance of establishing electronic data exchange between all cantonal institutions and the Agency was highlighted, which will significantly improve the speed and efficiency of administrative processes. The introduction of digital systems is expected to reduce bureaucratic barriers and speed up the delivery of services to citizens, thus further modernizing the operations of cantonal institutions.
Additionally, planned projects that will directly benefit citizens were discussed, which will further enhance public services and simplify daily administrative procedures. In this context, the possibility of opening RA offices at locations for issuing personal documents at MUP USK was considered, which would significantly ease the process for citizens to obtain their electronic signature and access various services.
Both parties reaffirmed their dedication to carrying out cooperative projects and sustaining ongoing collaboration, which would help state institutions run more effectively and openly.
