The Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), Mr. Almir Badnjević, paid an official visit to the Government of the Una-Sana Canton, where he met with Prime Minister Nijaz Hušić. During the visit, a constructive meeting was held to discuss the implementation of electronic data exchange as well as the e-Beba project, which has already been successfully introduced in the Republika Srpska.
The Government of Una-Sana Canton adopted a significant conclusion obligating all institutions at the cantonal level to submit a request to the Agency for access to electronic data exchange. With this decision, the Government of USK demonstrated its commitment to improving administrative processes, reducing paperwork, and speeding up the delivery of services to citizens.
During the meeting, Director Badnjević emphasised that all legal and technical conditions for the successful implementation of this process have already been created. He added that IDDEEA is fully available for any technical support and that it is now necessary for institutions in Una-Sana Canton to submit the appropriate requests in order to gain access to electronic data exchange.
The application of this system brings a number of advantages, including greater efficiency, transparency, and security in the exchange of information between institutions. Additionally, it will significantly reduce the processing time of citizens’ and businesses’ requests, contributing to the modernisation of public administration and increasing user satisfaction.
The Government of USK and IDDEEA remain committed to strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and creating the conditions for a more efficient and modern public administration for the benefit of all citizens of Una-Sana Canton and beyond.
