The City of Bosanska Krupa, already recognised for its commitment to modernising public administration, is taking further steps toward digital transformation. In support of this effort, Mr. Almir Badnjević, Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), met with Mayor Armin Halitović to explore new avenues of cooperation.
Bosanska Krupa has already signed an agreement with IDDEEA, granting permanent access to its web services. This integration allows for faster and more efficient processing of various citizen requests. During the meeting, both sides acknowledged the success of their existing collaboration while emphasising the need for further development.
The primary focus was on expanding digital services to ensure more efficient, transparent, and user-friendly public administration for residents of Bosanska Krupa. Key discussion points included upgrading technical infrastructure and implementing new electronic services, particularly those involving the use of qualified electronic signatures issued by IDDEEA.
City officials, led by Mayor Halitović, expressed a strong willingness to align local regulations with the advanced digital solutions technically provided by IDDEEA. One proposal under review is the establishment of a Registration Authority (RA) office in Bosanska Krupa, which would significantly improve local access to electronic services for citizens and businesses.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their cooperation on digital projects aimed at bridging local and national systems, ultimately raising the standard and accessibility of public services in Bosanska Krupa.
